This is a whole product, which is minimally processed. Leaves are left to naturally oxidize. Yaupon has very little tannin, so it is not bitter.

FLAVOR: Vegetal and grassy, notes of hay and honey. Naturally sweet finish. A perfect iced or hot tea.

Yaupon loves heat and time. Steep for at least five minutes in very hot water of at least 200F.

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 6-10mg per gram (coffee is around 10mg/g)
